Just Living the Dream

Today's blog will be pretty short and sweet. I have been working like a madwoman the past few weeks! Between photography related stuff, sessions, weddings and personal life....I am whooped! Here's a little update on just maybe why your photos have been taking a little while to finish up.

Here's the lowdown on my fast few weeks since returning from vacation:

1 Newborn session

2 First birthdays

3 Family sessions

2 boudoir sessions

1 3rd birthday

3 engagements

1 mommy n' me

1 maternity session

2 Meetings

Photographed one wedding

Attended two funerals

Photographed and blogged the latest edition of the Friendship project

Attended 6 of my son's baseball games (some we traveled for)

And found time to work a day at my part time job

ALL OF THIS on top of the general laundry, dishes, running kids, cleaning, babysitting a very cute two year old for the night, having my vacuum blow up and having to do the research to get a new one, grocery shopping, general errands, editing all of the above sessions, answering messages/emails, confirming appointments, having my father hospitalized and needing to run my mom around (she doesn't drive), yard work, attended two graduation parties AND getting everything together and shopped for my own son's grad party this weekend!

I just know I'm forgetting something in there! Whew~! Soooo...that's is why some of my session turn around times have been lagging a few days. I am staying up late and waking up early to get it all done!

I am not complaining. Excess work is such a blessing! This week also holds a newborn (a sweet baby girl this time!) and my first Senior from the class of 2017!!!

I love Summer! I love my job! I love my clients! I love my family! I am one grateful lady!
